More on Alaska Governor Sarah Palin, Desperation Pick

More on Sarah Palin:

  1. She has no foreign policy experience
  2. She is so strongly anti-choice that she even opposes abortion in the case of rape or incest
  3. George Bush wasn’t right enough for her, she supported Pat Buchanan in 2000
  4. She’s doesn’t think we humans are the cause of climate change
  5. She has pushed hard for more oil drilling, saying renewables won’t be ready for years
  6. She sued the Bush administration for listing polar bears as an endangered species—she was worried it would interfere with more oil drilling in Alaska

And finally, how closely did John McCain vet this choice? McCain said he met Sarah Palin once at a meeting. They spoke a second time, last Sunday, when he called her about being vice-president. Then he offered her the position.

Now tell me that is not a desperation candidate…

  1. I think McCain has made a serious error in judgment. While people are concerned about McCain’s cancer history and age, he chooses a lightweight as his running mate. And we thought Dan Quayle was a lightweight.

  2. Here’s another one. Like George Bush, she pronounces “nuclear” as “nukular.” It was a bad sign then, and it’s a bad sign now.
